We are a family oriented church and look forward to meeting you personally at 742 Cookson Ave. SE New Philadelphia Ohio!  Our desire to minister to the entire family is evident at the front door! Welcome!

We trust you'll find easy access to every ministry provided and an open door to make the newcomer feel right at home.  We feel we are a missional church with the purpose of telling everyone everywhere they are loved and there is a plan and a purpose for their life!

Our desire as a church family is to see that every individual finds their purpose in life and in the grace of Christ's love!  My position in this church as pastor gives me this opportunity to invite you to come check us out and see the area you are interested in, in action.

Filled with God’s Presence

Read Exodus 35:1 through 40:38

Ellen’s small group resolved to read through the Bible in a year, discussing what they had learned over coffee on Thursday nights. Many interesting stories filled Genesis and provided topics for enthusiastic discussion. The early chapters of Exodus did the same. But as the group encountered the recitation of the law and the details of the tabernacle, conversation slowed.

“How is all of this relevant to us today?” asked Joyce. “We no longer offer sacrifices. Let’s just skip this part of the Bible.” Ellen directed the group to the last verses of Exodus.

Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle (Exodus 40:34).

Ellen understood that the Law, the priestly worship, and the tabernacle continue to teach that God desires to dwell with His people. As the priests followed every detail of God’s instructions, God’s presence filled the tabernacle.

As God’s people, the Holy Spirit dwells within us. He will guide us as we diligently follow His instructions in His Word.

Prayer for Today: Holy Spirit, fill my life with Your presence.
